At Winters Farm we pasture raise beef. We do not use regular antibiotics or growth hormones. We keep our quantities low to ensure quality and we strive to maintain as closed of a herd as possible.

Our Hereford mix cattle are pasture raised during the growing season. In addition to season fresh pasture, they are fed a combination of dry hay, milled grain, and spent grain from local breweries. During the winter months, our cattle have access to 4 acres of wooded pasture. During the summer months, they rotationally graze an additional 12 acres.

We pasture-raise Cornish-Cross broilers in the spring, summer and fall. We utilize portable chicken tractors, which enables us to move them to fresh grass daily. In addition to the fresh pasture, they are given milled grain and local brewers grain.
